Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Roaslytics (“Roaslytics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit roaslytics.com (the “Site”) or apply to work with us. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our application form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, business name, website, product category, approximate monthly ad spend and revenue ranges, a description of your current challenge, and how you heard about us. If you email us, we collect the contents of that correspondence.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We use IP addresses transiently to rate-limit our application endpoint and prevent spam; this data is held briefly in memory and is not stored in a database by us. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may retain standard server logs.

What we do not collect. The Site does not offer user accounts and does not collect payment information. Other than the Meta Pixel described below, we do not use third-party analytics trackers, and we do not sell your personal information.

Cookies, the Meta Pixel, and advertising

We advertise online and use the Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) on the Site to understand how visitors find us and whether our ads lead to applications. The pixel sets cookies and collects standard technical data — such as your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you view, and actions you take (for example, submitting the application form) — and sends it to Meta.

Advanced matching. When you submit the application form, the pixel also sends Meta a hashed (irreversibly scrambled) version of the contact details you entered — your email address, phone number, and name — so Meta can better measure conversions and, where possible, match you to a Meta account. These values are hashed in your browser before they are sent; we do not transmit your raw email, phone, or name to Meta through the pixel, and financial, health, and government-ID data are never sent.

Meta processes this data as an independent controller under its own Privacy Policy. We use it to measure ad performance and to build audiences for remarketing (showing our ads to people who have visited the Site). You can control how Meta uses your data for ads in your Meta ad preferences, block or delete cookies through your browser settings, or opt out of interest-based advertising through industry tools such as the DAA and NAI. You can also email us and we will stop associating your application with advertising data.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

— Review your application and decide whether we're a fit to work together;
— Respond to you, including preparing any audit or materials related to your application;
— Communicate with you about an actual or potential engagement;
— Operate, secure, and improve the Site, including spam prevention;
— Measure the performance of our advertising and, through the Meta Pixel, reach people who have visited the Site with our ads;
— Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we will not add you to a marketing email list without your consent.

How we share information

We share information only with the service providers that make the Site work: Vercel (website hosting), Resend (delivery of application emails to our team), and our email providers (including inbound email forwarding and the mailbox where applications are received). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We also share the technical and hashed data described above with Meta through the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement and remarketing.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), in which case this policy will continue to apply to previously collected data.

Data retention

We keep application details and correspondence for as long as needed to evaluate and respond to your application and, where an engagement follows, for the duration of our business relationship and any period required for legal or accounting purposes. You may request deletion at any time (see “Your rights” below).

Security

The Site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under U.S. state privacy laws — including California's CCPA/CPRA and similar laws in states such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and Oregon (rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information). We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement and remarketing may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under some of these laws. You can opt out by blocking non-essential cookies in your browser, adjusting your Meta ad preferences, or emailing us to ask us to stop — and we will honor it. For residents of the EEA/UK, the GDPR provides rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, and objection. We honor access, correction, and deletion requests from anyone, regardless of where you live. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.

Children

The Site is a business-to-business service and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices — review their policies before providing information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
